Organization
- Children go straight from lunch to the after-school center, where their parents can pick them up any time during the afternoon until 5.30 p.m.
- Children from all classes spend their time together. This builds on the school's overall concept, which is based on a small and interconnected group. The center thus lets friends of all ages "flock together" each afternoon to enjoy their shared interests.
- The after-school center also has an extensive garden and its own games room, a gym next door, ping pong, and two small relaxation rooms if children would like to rest somewhere quiet.
- Over the course of the afternoon, children that are enrolled in school clubs are taken to and from them by teachers. Clubs run in parallel with the after-school center.
- Starting from half past three, snacks are available in the small lunchroom for those who want them. Drinks are available all day.
Program
- Children have a choice of program. As well as their own ideas, they may choose from the center's planned activities and a wide range of sports.
- In the garden they have a sandpit, climbing frames and slides, a trampoline, swings and ball games. They can even try walking on stilts, and in the summer there is a swimming pool with showers...
- In the gym children can take part in competitions, tackle the obstacle course, play dodgeball and floorball, take a shot at all kinds of things, crawl through the string maze...
- Favorites in the games room are the building blocks and board games. Space is also set aside for creative spirits.
