The Duhovka Literature and Art Festival

A joint exhibition of all our children's work was held in January 2012 at Písecká brána.

The courage to depart from the traditional authoritarian model of education, and to introduce into school life a human, caring, creative, safe, natural and good-humored way of communicating and working with children, based on their innate nature and curiosity and their desire to learn about anything and everything that could in some way "come in handy" in their lives.
The desire to do the work you love in a safe and supportive environment, where the human essence of both the children and the teachers will have a genuine chance to blossom.
The belief that if a person does their work in a way that feels right, without fear of criticism, this opens a door to great personal success, satisfaction and joy.
A fresh and original approach to the whole idea of teaching, where children become the co-creators of their environment, the school's promotion and events, as well as the authors and actualizers of ideas at a high aesthetic and qualitative level - the school's calendar, greeting cards, promotional leaflets, interior decoration, and a wide range of projects involving long-term collaboration with interesting people.
Respect for children as human beings, with their own rights, needs and differences. Support and nurturing of their originality and sense of uniqueness as welcome qualities that are enriching for us all.
